This April, we held two separate camps in Murang’a  (16th-18th April) and Nanyuki (9th-11th April) at Githagara Chief’s Community Hall, and P.C.E.A. Nyariginu respectively. Topics of discussion include; preparation for exams, and life-issues such as drugs and substance abuse, peer pressure, among others. Discussions were carried out in groups and plenary sessions over the course of three days in each county.

Through programs such as these, we are seeing our dream to see empowered communities come to life one person at a time. By expanding our outreach to the communities, we not only have a wider outreach, but through the interactions and shared experiences, many youths are receiving much needed guidance and counselling.

Thanks to our trustees, partners, mentors and volunteers, we have not only been able to hold mentorship camps for our students each holiday, but we have been able to expand our reach into the communities through programs such as this.
